Calling All Sleuths

 Your expertise is needed immediately! The LAPCP land development company has petitioned the city/county planning board to build a new subdivision is Sarpy County. It will cover several acres and include the development of lots for 60 duplex units, 175 single family dwellings, two apartment buildings with 100 apartments in each, a golf course and recreation center, and a strip mall. It is being built on an area that includes a wetland.   

 Your job, if you choose to accept it will be to determine the impact of this development on Sarpy County.

1. Your class will assume the role of city/county planners (Schuetz), farmers(Dauner), developer (Dennis), Army Corps of Engineers(Hupp).
2. You will begin researching and gathering information using web and print resources, and listening to speakers.
3. Your task will be to determine the effect the development will have on water and land of the area.
