English: Continuing all of the skills learned in previous years, 8th grade English will focus on grammar, spelling, writing (especially descriptive), speaking, and several types of literature. Usage and application of the various elements in all areas are demonstrated in classwork, homework, quizzes, tests, speeches, and compositions.
