Destination Imagination (DI) is an activity for children grades 1 thru 12, and there is also a college level. DI teaches life skills and expanding imagination through team-based problem solving.

The challenges:
Mystery Loves Company:
Your team is to create a story of suspense and intrigue. You will perform your own scientific investigation to solve your own team-created mystery. Your team will also design and construct a communication device that will transport your information a distance.
Triplicity:
The primary focus of this challenge is to create, build, and test a three-part weight-bearing structure constructed from balsa wood, paper, and glue. Your team will also tell the story of a journey to a destination of the team's choice.
Anonymously Yours:
Your team will select a real work of art whose creator is "unknown". You will then create an original performance that tells the story of the unknown artist, and the creation of the work of art you choose. The unknown artist must have lived in a country or culture other than where your team lives.
DInamic Improv:
The goal of the improvisational challenge is to think and act in the moment with little or no rehearsal and pre-planned scripts.
IncreDIble TechEffects:
Your team is to research and investigate the technology of special effects and will create an original tale that implements these effects. Your team is required to incorporate 4 special effects plus a DIrect TechEffect that will be detected by the Inspector Detector.
