Counselor's Corner
Hi! My name is Linda Eckhoff and I am the counselor at Rumsey
Station. I am very excited to be here. My previous place of work was North
Platte, Nebraska, where I worked at Lake Maloney School. I come to Papillion
with 30 years of experience in the educational field. I completed by Bachelor
and Master Degrees at University of Nebraska at Kearney.
I'll fill you in on my family. My husband is a retired railroad employee and
now works on the family farm raising cattle. I have two children all grown
and out of college. My son lives in Kearney, Nebraska and has provided me
with two granddaughters. The oldest is going to be seven in September and
will be starting first grade this year. The youngest is only eighteen months
old. He has recently started up his own business and is doing very well. My
daughter lives between Omaha and Blair and works at a dental office, here
in Omaha. She is still living the single life.
I will be in the classrooms at least once every two weeks, working on skills
for everyday living. These skills will include respect, trustworthiness, caring,
leadership, responsibility, citizenship, attitude, fairness, tolerance, and
honesty. When I am not in the classrooms, I will be available to students
for one-to-one counseling. The student may choose to come to see me, or can
be referred by a parent or teacher.
Please feel free to e-mail me at leckhoff@paplv.esu3.org or call the school
at 402-898-0475, if you have any concerns.
Mrs. Eckhoff
