Welcome from our Chief Engineer, Mrs. Castellano, Welcome to Rumsey Station Elementary School. We are a kindergarten through sixth grade school with approximately five hundred fifty students. We also have a severe and profound program in our building. There are four sections of all grade levels except for first where there are three sections. Our school is named after Mr. Rumsey Sailing. He was one of the first settlers in Sarpy County. Mr. Sailing was also the first sheriff in Sarpy County. When the railroad came through, they named a depot, not far from the school, in his honor. Rumsey Station is filled with caring and compassionate professionals who are dedicated to providing an excellent education tailored to meet individual student needs. Building strong partnerships between students, parents and teachers makes a bond that assures success. We are extremely proud of our fine students, staff and supportive parents. Our P.T.O. works hard to enhance our educational programs through volunteer efforts and financial support. Please know that my door is always open.
