Future Problem Solvers (FPS)
Future
Problem Solving (FPS) is a team competition
activity. There are four students
on each team. Teams meet after school on Wednesdays
from 3:15-4:15
for practice
with their coach. The FPS Bowl is usually held the last week in February at the
LaVista Community Center. FPS helps students learn to think more creatively, develop an
interest in the future, learn a six-step problem-solving process, work as a
team, develop research skills, think critically, and learn how to put on a skit
with limited materials.
Mrs. Vampola
is the coach for 2006-2007.
