INCLEMENT WEATHER . . . . . . . CANCELLATION OF SCHOOL
LOCAL TELEVISION STATIONS are the first contacts the school district makes to inform them of a school cancellation. Local radio stations will also announce school cancellations due to bad weather.
Please note that Papillion-La Vista Schools will attempt to make their own independent decision about school closings as early as possible. We are not part of the Omaha school system. Parents are asked to refrain from calling the school for information regarding school closings.
*****As a reminder, the District School Calendar states that we will make up both the 1st & 2nd snow days should they occur.

D.A.R.E To Be Drug Free

The sixth grade students began D.A.R.E. classes taught by Papillion Police Dept Officer, Kurt
McClannan, today. The acronym D.A.R.E. stands for
Drug, Abuse, Resistance, Education. The students will take part in 9 lessons and discuss such things as how drugs can harm our bodies, peer pressure, ways to say no, and decision making. At the end of 9 weeks of learning, a graduation will be held to celebrate those students who complete the program.
