D.A.R.E To Be Drug Free
The sixth grade students began D.A.R.E. classes taught by Papillion Police Dept Officer, Kurt McClannan, today. The acronym D.A.R.E. stands for Drug, Abuse, Resistance, Education. The students will take part in 9 lessons and discuss such things as how drugs can harm our bodies, peer pressure, ways to say no, and decision making. At the end of 9 weeks of learning, a graduation will be held to celebrate those students who complete the program.
